ABOUT THE WORK:
The mat is hand-stitched using the fabric from life vests left on the Mediterranean beaches. The mats were designed by street artist Banksy and made in refugee camps. All mats have a Gross Domestic Product official label attached (so you know it’s genuine) but the mat is not eligible for a certificate of authentication from Pest Control. The life jacket does not come with the welcome mat
These were initially released in a run of 500 in October 2019, then a further 500 were released in March 2020. This is classified as an Open Edition as they are not limited to a specific number and there is a chance of additional runs of 500 being released by Love Welcomes.

Under normal circumstances, we aim to ship all orders within 5 working days and often a lot quicker. However, in light of the uncertain times we are all currently facing, please refer to our dedicated COVID-19 page for our latest update on how we are managing orders, along with estimated shipping and transit times.
If there are any delays in shipping or if an artwork requires professional packing, including crating, we will get in contact with you as soon as possible after you have placed an order and let you know the estimated timings for delivery. For orders placed through the website, you will receive an automated message once your order has been dispatched, which will include tracking details. We typically use DHL Express for UK and Worldwide shipping, with all shipments to mainland Europe sent by DHL Economy.
If your order is suspicious in nature or flagged as high risk for fraud, under our Terms of Business we reserve the right to cancel an order. We will notify you if this is the case and discuss alternative payment options.
