ABOUT THE WORK:

Damien Hirst (British, b. 1965) is a contemporary, conceptual artist, best known for his role in the Young British Artist (YBA) movement of the 1990s. Always revolving around themes of mortality and science, his artistic practice varies widely—from dead animals submerged in formaldehyde to pristine, ominous medicine cabinets to multi-colored paintings of butterflies and spots. He was awarded the prestigious Turner Prize in 1995, and has had over 80 solo exhibitions and 260 group exhibitions worldwide at the Gagosian Gallery, Serpentine Gallery, Tate Modern, and more. His work currently resides within the collections of the Tate and the Hirshhorn Museum.

Under normal circumstances, we aim to ship all orders within 5 working days and often a lot quicker. However, in light of the uncertain times we are all currently facing, please refer to our dedicated COVID-19 page for our latest update on how we are managing orders, along with estimated shipping and transit times.

If there are any delays in shipping or if an artwork requires professional packing, including crating, we will get in contact with you as soon as possible after you have placed an order and let you know the estimated timings for delivery.
For orders placed through the website, you will receive an automated message once your order has been dispatched, which will include tracking details. We typically use DHL Express for UK and Worldwide shipping, with all shipments to mainland Europe sent by DHL Economy.

If your order is suspicious in nature or flagged as high risk for fraud, under our Terms of Business we reserve the right to cancel an order. We will notify you if this is the case and discuss alternative payment options.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your address details are accurate when placing your order - under our Terms of Business you have a responsibility to let us know immediately if the shipping address you have provided is not accurate.
